3Shape seeks Support Engineer to Shanghai office
3Shape is looking for a highly motivated technical person with strong CAM understanding to support our Asian customers. Your primary responsibility is to offer software support to our partners and customers. Gradually you will be trained to carry out scanner hardware repair as well.
You have an IT support or engineering background preferably with CAD/CAM experience or other relevant IT skills. Besides it will be a huge advantage if you already have experience in repairing scanners, PC and other electronics.
Being in daily contact with our customers and helping them to use the 3Shape products optimally, you must be a strong communicator and enjoy that your working days will never look alike. You will be based in our office in Shanghai but you will often be at clients sites hence travelling activities both domestically and internationally will be part of your role.

We seek a colleague with competencies within several of the following fields:
Previous experience from support function
Solid understanding for CAM
Experienced in G-coding
General Network knowledge (incl. understanding the concepts of client-server solutions)
Outgoing and a team player

In addition you are:
Fluent in English verbally and in writing
Highly structured and disciplined you take pride in solving your tasks as well as delivering high quality results

Your responsibilities:
Daily support of our customers
Problem solving using remote diagnostics software
Later,you will assume responsibility for the repair of 3shape sanners and other hardware problem solving.
Ensure the repair process is functioning effciently and in accordance with 3shape guidelines
Be an active player in evaluating and developing the support as well as the repair function

May perform other related duties when required.
