MacDow's main operating areas are in: civil buildings, pipelines, architectural, mechanical, structural building. MacDow now is operating offices in Hong Kong, Singapore, New Zealand, Thailand and the United Arab Emirates as well as fabrication yards in Thailand and Indonesia.

McConnell Dowell Constructors (Australia) Pty Ltd has established a Representative Office in Shanghai in order to provide procurement, expediting, inspection and logistics assistance to various McConnell Dowell & associated companies' projects in Australia and around the Pacific Rim. The main procurement effort is focused on pre-fabricated heavy steel structures, pre-cast concrete panels, piperack & mechanical modules, site accommodation units, steel piles and other infrastructure related items.
