Job Title:Product Specialist -Wear Parts/Oil & Gas
Department:Sales
Reports to:Sales Manager - Business development Manager
Work Location:Zhengzhou
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Include the following and other duties assigned by management:
Typical work activities and primary responsibilities
·Develop with, Sales manager or Business Development manager and Marketing Manager (where applicable) a product account specific Sales development and Growth plan.
·Visits customers to sell defined products to current and new potential customers
·Gaining a clear understanding of customer's businesses and product needs
·Responsible for Sales and Product Development for defined product account(s)
·Initiate and coordinates action plans to grow existing customers/market and to penetrate new customers/markets
·Maintains close contact with production units, customer relations departments to ensure highest level of customer satisfaction
·Use of S_LP* (Sales Learning Program) concept, SMS system and QlikView reports to promote SHM value offering , monitor activities, performance and progress to achieve agreed targets
·Participate in setting individual customer/account targets for Sales, Profit, BR, A/R and A&S
·Controls expenses to meet cost budget guidelines.
·Conduct market research through the use of multiple resource avenues in order to find new prospective customers
·Other duties as assigned
Works with Marketing Manager for account where applicable - to:
·Coordinate product development and offering, pricing guidelines, sales promotion activities for the account
·Gather information and provides feed-back on competitor activities and market trends
·Coordinates and follow-up of specific account R&D activities
·Assists in sales forecasting activities on a quarterly basis for the respective account.
·Assists in the development of and implementation of Marketing Plan as needed
Experience /Competence Requirements:
·Bachelor's degree in mechanical or related major with good knowledge of machining.
·At least 2-3 years'experience in application area and/or training in carbide industry.
·Good Mandarin and English skills in in both verbal and written skills.
·Good knowledge of Microsoft Office software, and SMS software
·Business/customer oriented, with good insight into, and understanding of sales and marketing
·Able to work independently and willing to take responsibility
·Good communications skills
·Good team player,proactive, self-motivated
