EDUCATION BACKGROUND 教育背景
1. College degree or above in Mechanical Engineering

WORK EXPERIENCE 工作经验
1. minimum 3 years relevant experience in a similar capacity in garment industry
2. At least 2 years of relevent experience

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS 知识技能要求
1. Strong understanding of design, development and product management process from inception through production.
2. Ability to interpret design intent and offer alternative solutions

IT / LANGUAGE 办公软件及语言要求
1. Computer skills including MS office, CAD / Cdr.
2. Conversant in both English writing and speaking

KEY COMPETENCES 关键能力要求
1. New product development
o Conceptualize new product ideas
o Develop new product prototypes
o Prepare / source machine tools for prototyping
o Test prototypes and make necessary amendments based on feedback
o Record keeping

2. Product commercializing
o Extensively check all new products to ensure bulk feasibility
？ Quality
？ Cost
？ Output / Efficiency etc.
o Prepare Standard Operating Procedures and Standard Worksheets
o Develop, source, modify, machines and machine tools for bulk production
o Train operation teams (production, quality, dye-house etc.) and ensure smooth knowledge transfer
？ Mini-bulk production and evaluation
o Share technical knowledge with other PI units on new products
o Record keeping

3. New Machine Development for R&D requirements
o Formulating machine development plan by following the product development Road Map and customer requirement
o Source / develop new machines, machine tools

？ Financial feasibility study and obtain approvals
？ Price negotiation
？ Machine testing and acquisition
o Machine installation and operator training
o Machine handover for bulk production (if required) and follow-up on operator training, machine performance etc.
