Job purpose
The Quality Director will be responsible for the development, coordination, implementation, monitoring and compliance of quality systems and standards.Director will update strategic plans by translating executive team goals and objectives into actionable programs and initiatives. The main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Requirements
1. Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Quality Management (other scientific disciplines considered)
2. 5+ years of quality experience in Quality Control, 3+years of Quality Management
3. Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality controls and costs
4. Must be fluent in Mandarin (oral and written) and proficient in English (oral and written) with good communication skills.
5. Initiative, aggressive and outgoing with good analytical ability
6. Knowledge of Statistics, QMS, Six Sigma, Lean Management
7. Strong documentation skill with intensive understanding and mastering of quality tools.
8. Able to lead and organize individual projects, draw conclusions and develop presentations
9. Willing to work hard, overtime and travel when necessary
10. Strong sense of ownership and sense of mission
Role and duties:
1. Align with Company goals to developthequality strategy and vision to ensure adherence with customer expectations.
2. Enforce Quality System established with continuous improvements and sustainabilityand establish and implement metrics for monitoring quality system effectiveness.
3. Manage quality department staff, including planning and establishing work schedules, assignments and resources to accomplish a task, training, performance reviews and department costs.
4. Present and provide budget for all QA equipment, procedures and department expenditure.
5. Support and perform internal Quality Training Program to ensure the proper training of continual and new staff.
6. Coordinate, help and perform quality education to the staff of the entire factory.
7. Provide support and guidance to Quality Department related to new and updated regulatory and legal requirements. Maintain and update information related to requirements
8. Monitor activities, programs and productsto ensure compliance with core quality measures.
9. Manage the QMS implementation including corrective and preventative actions, document control, quality record management, supplier quality program, quality control testing, calibration of test equipment, product specifications, lot release, process validation, and risk management.
10. Oversee and enforce QMS documents for process control, process improvement, testing, and inspection; this will include all subcontractor work as well; oversee the preparation of records and reports ensuring completeness and accuracy of data. This includes, but is not limited to: parts history reports, CARs, QMS document control-revision and releases, generating certificates of conformance and certificates of analysis. This also includes reviewing and revising existing SOPs to comply with the needs of programs, process guides and procedures to meet and maintain projects.
11. Gather, analyze and manage quality related data.
12. Coordinate and supervise inter-departmental programs related to quality improvements.
13. Manage and/or support design and development projects
14. Interact with USA Office and Customers on any quality related cases, and serve as the primary quality control resource for problem identification, resolution, and continuous improvement
