Responsibilities:
> Coordinate testing of parts and completed units to determine their reliability and safety. Recommend any necessary changes and manage the implementation of the changes.
> Review sketches, engineering drawings, specifications and prototypes from vendors and internal sources to determine feasibility, reliability and safety of the product.
> Actively manage new product timelines and ensure that vendors are on-track to meet committed ship dates.
> Work with Designers and Product Mangers in the development of product in regards to safety and reliability
> Create product drawings, designs and sketches using a variety of media for internal and external communication and review
> Review new vendor facilities as required
> Work with QC personnel to resolve any issues that arise during production
> Assist vendor partners develop engineering & production capabilities when needed
> Any additional duties and responsibilities based on the needs and evolution of the company's business, product portfolio, and market conditions

Requirements:
> Degree or above in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Electronics/Mechatronics engineering or related discipline
> Excellent communications skills in English (spoken and written), Cantonese and Mandarin
> At least 8 years experience in the development, project management and production of juvenile products including sound knowledge of fabric/plastics/metals selection, costing, and specification and associated manufacturing processes
> Fully conversant using Windows, MS-Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Pro-E/CAD software
> For this role, experience in car seat and travel system is required. Other experiences in JP products (bouncer, swing, activities centre, play yard, high chair) are preferable. Previous experience in ProE Modeling (3D and Surface), Mechanism Design, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, Material Science and Technology, Finite Element Analysis is definitely an asset

In the Project Manager, you will lead all project management activities including tooling debug, scheduling, cost control and vendor management to ensure on-time and on-budget completion of project milestones. You are required to plan, manage, and control all project engineering processes from prototyping to production. The Project Manager also need to coordinate multi-disciplinary product development activities with US office as well as communicate & resolve all product, quality and performance issues between factories, vendors and the product development team. You will report to Senior Director or Director of Product Development in HK Office and will be stationed in Ningbo, China.
