POSITION DESCRIPTION
JMATEK has been a major player in the Evaporative Air Cooler market worldwide. The company has exclusive designs and models which are marketed worldwide under the Honeywell Brand. To keep pace with its innovation and growth in this segment the company requires a Senior Engineer / Assistant Manager (Testing and Evaluation)
Key Area Responsibilities:
1. Evaluating performance of coolers as per international standards
2. Testing of Components to confirm their specifications.
3. Estimating life of components by using standard industry practices
4. Evaluate life of coolers by using normal and accelerated life tests
5. Co ordinate with certification agencies for CDF.
6. Ensure Continuous improvement of quality and reliability.
Job Requirements:
1. Graduation in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
2. Work experience with certification agency / component testing company (ITS /SGS etc) for 3~4 years
3. Analytical approach for problem solving
4. Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
5. Essential :knowledge of FMEA and DFMEA ; Kaizen technique
6. Knowledge of Lean Management will be added advantage .
