I.Position Summary

This position is responsible of development of international freight service out of Guangzhou in order to achieve assigned both top line and bottom line finance result.

Main responsibility is to ensure we run the Freight forwarding business (all modes) profitably by targeting, developing & converting new biz opportunities in supply chain logistics for key verticals markets in Greater China.

This will also entail negotiations with the Carrier pricing in close conjunction with APLL Corporate Pricing Desk to obtain competitive freights & establish service contracts with carriers. This position will also involve in Managing Ocean and Air Import/Export KPI process and provide management direction and support to operations to achieve compliance and service standards.

In addition to key focus in forwarding, position will be responsible for identifying and selling APLL supply chain solutions and products from our full suite of services.

II. Primary Accountabilities

A) Responsible for leading and exceeding EBIT targets for selected vertical markets & Geographical regions.

B) Develop and maintain customer relationships and business network

Identify new FF business opportunities, including marketing plans and presentations.

C) Facilitate implementation of new customer projects through close coordination with the implementation teams, e.g. operations, customer service, finance and information technology.

D) Ensure timely and accurate reporting of weekly sales calls, and participate in formulation sales forecasts.

E) Maintain an updated customer database, with appropriate profiles and segmentation.

III. MINIMUM Requirements

A) University graduate or above; CET 6 (College English Test) preferred;

B) Minimum 5 years in marketing or business development with domain knowledge of supply chain logistics and local market practices;

C) Excellent communications and marketing presentation skills;

D) Resourcefulness, maturity and high level of initiative;

E) Creativity, can handle customer independently;

F) With customer focus, perspective, able to work independently, team player, interpersonal skill;

G) Proficiency in PC skills;

H) Ability to work individually and under pressure.

I) Ability to meet deadline.

J) Fluent Mandarin & good command of English (written and oral) and Cantonese preferred.
