Responsibilities:

>Handle all tooling from quotation stage to mass production stage

>Coordinate multi-disciplinary product development activities with HK, US office and vendors

>Communicate and resolve all tooling issues, between factories, vendors and the product development team

>Review sketches, engineering drawings, specifications and prototypes from vendors and internal sources to determine feasibility, reliability and safety of the product

>Actively assist new tooling timelines and ensure that vendors are on-track to meet committed 1^st shot date

>Work with Product drawings, tooling drawings, designs and sketches using a variety of media for internal and external communication and review

>Assist vendor partners in tooling developing when needed

>Review tooling cost and get US headquarter approval

>Assist Project Engineering to create the concept drawing for quick reference

>Tooling Database maintenance, tooling invoice follow up and tooling audits

>Other engineering duties assigned by manager or director

Requirements:

>Degree holder in Engineering and/or Manufacturing disciplines

>At least 5 years’ experience in toys buying/trading office as project engineer and/or tooling engineer and 2 years above in management level, preferable in toy industry.

>Strong negotiation skill with vendors on cost and schedule

>Experience from factory background is definitely an asset

>Extensive knowledge of Injection mold structure and manufacturing flow

>Familiar with the specialty of plastic like ABS, PP, PVC POM

>Proficient PC skills in using Pro-E /AutoCAD/UG and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

>Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese

>Excellent team player, passion and a high level of energy
