This role will focus on: ensuring Converse products are packaged and labeled correctly for every Shipment destination across the Globe, considering the needs of Converse, Country Customs, Warehouses, Customers, Retailers, and Consumers.
The mainly responsibility includes:
1) Position Converse Technical Services and our factory base for success by ensuring requirements and procedures are deployed and updated with key stakeholders:
? Manage all factory packaging and labeling requirements, including but not limited to Carton Weight/Dimensions, packaging/labeling quality standards, scannability requirements, country-specific requirements, container loading requirement, in-transit /EDI information, etc.
? Develop and Maintain the Converse Technical Services Packaging Manual, Tools, Requirements and Database as a means to ensure standards and requirements are clearly outlined and kept up to date for factories and Converse Zhongshan team personnel.
?Oversee factory performance in support of these requirements, and drive factory training and conformance with vendor compliance programs.
?Manage "nominated vendors" such as Avery and OIA in their support of the factory packaging or labeling programs. Ensure factories are serviced appropriately and pricing is in line with industry standards.
?Manage Direct-ship VAS (value added services) requirements and database.
2) Communicate & Collaborate with Stakeholders:
?Communicate regularly with key stakeholders in North Andover, Nike Trading Company /Converse Trading Company, and Converse Warehouses to keep current with performance levels, program requirements and changes.
?Act as a liaison between internal logistics teams, Logistic Service Providers, Converse Warehouses, Clients, and Customers as needed to gain clear perspective on the needs and capabilities of each.
3) Lead Problem Solving and Issue Resolution:
?Act as a project manager and key resource to Converse and Factory teammates in resolving issues within Packaging or Labeling programs or issues.
?Support Converse Product Integrity and Legal in their efforts to prevent counterfeiting of Converse packaging
4) Lead Program Development and Compliance for key Packaging/Labeling/Logistics Business Initiatives:
?Support Converse's Sustainability efforts by managing packaging specifications within desired targets and standards. Look for new packaging and logistics concepts that will help reduce Nike's environmental impact while maintaining desired business results.
?Support factory and vendor efforts to manage within the limits of the Packaging Restricted Substances List (PRSL).

The requirements are:
1.4-year degree, subject area: Packaging Engineering, Business, Marketing
2.Experience with Packaging/Labeling/Logistics for a Global Branded Consumer Products Company
3.Strong affinity to computers and systems - ability to learn and use technology quickly and effectively
4.Excellent communicator who likes to engage with others via email, phone, and face to face meetings.
5.Excellent English Language skills
6.Project management experience and excellent organizational skills.
7.Some travel required to Asia Pacific region company offices, manufacturing locations, and Headquarters.
