Responsibilities:

1.Plan, manage, and control all project engineering processes from prototyping to production.

2.Coordinate multi-disciplinary product development activities with HK, US office and vendors.

3.Communicate and resolve all product, quality and performance issues between factories, vendors and the product development team.

4.Coordinate testing of parts and completed units to determine their reliability and safety. Recommend any necessary changes and manage the implementation of the changes.

5.Review sketches, engineering drawings, specifications and prototypes from vendors and internal sources to determine feasibility, reliability and safety of the product.

6.Actively manage new product specification , timelines and ensure that vendors are on-track to meet committed ship dates.

7.Work with Designers, Product Mangers and Product Integrity Manager in the development of product in regards to safety and reliability.

8.Create product drawings, designs and sketches using a variety of media for internal and external communication and review

9.Review new vendor facilities as required.

10.Work with QC personnel to resolve any issues that arise during production.

11.Assist vendor partners develop engineering & production capabilities when needed.

Requirements:

1.Degree or above in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Electronics/Mechatronics Engineering or related discipline.

2.At least 8 years experience in the development, project management and production of baby toys or infant toys.

3.Skilled engineer with detailed knowledge of materials and production processes utilizing electronics, plastics, fabrics and/or plush.

4.Team player with an ability to work independently when needed.

5.Fully conversant using Windows, MS-Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint & Project) and Pro-E/CAD software.

6.Excellent communications skills in English (spoken and written), Cantonese and Mandarin.

7.Ability to read and interpret documents such as logistics, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees of organization.

8.Willing to travel frequently in Hong Kong.
