REGIONAL COMMUNICATOR
Reporting to the regional HR director, with strong alignment to the Global Business Communications Director, the Regional Communicator supports communications needs of the business units and regional site and functional leadership. This person works directly with the regional business commercial teams to ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity throughout all communications channels, and with site leadership to provide effective internal communications.
 
Key Responsibilities
? Provides business communications support
? Organizes customer events, including tradeshows and customer forums
? Develops and implements division and product-related communications strategies
? Develops and oversees implementation of print and digital business communications, including customer letters and presentations, website content updates and literature
? Partners with human resources to support employee engagement including recognition programs, organizational change and talent acquisition
? Develops messaging for regular site leader communications
? Supports geographic and site leader community engagement
? Supports regional volunteerism efforts
? Develops content on the Olin intranet to ensure employees are aware of changes and projects within the company
 
Key Competencies
? Bachelor’s degree or higher in communications or related field
? Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and design skills are essential, including ability to present concepts verbally (English; other languages in addition, if outside US)
? Minimum five year’s communications experience
? Strong interpersonal skills and experience working with businesses and functions
? Experience organizing internal or external events such as conferences or tradeshows
? Experience in media relations (will work with media relations director)
? Understanding of independent and integrated communications channels
