职位描述
Key Responsible:
(1) Technical Support
Technical supports to the plant involve short term troubleshooting as well as technological innovation and scientific development. The engineer in charge of the position will interact strongly with the process team located in the plant, and with the R&D engineer in charge of the monomers. He will be also is frequent contact with the R&D team in charge of evaluating the properties of these polymers.
(2) New product development
Development of new polymers involves understanding structure / property relationships, coordinate with the application teams to help to define the necessary structures, and define the reaction conditions to manufacture them. The engineer in charge will develop close collaborations with the production teams as well as the other R&D centers in USA and France, develop thorough understanding of the manufacturing processes, and propose ways for improvement on short term as well as long term.
Requirements:
PhD in Chemical Engineering or Polymer Synthesis
Industrial Experience in Polymer Synthesis / Chemical Engineering is a plus, all the more in areas such as polyamides, polyesters
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving skills
International school program or experience, i.e. part of school program held in USA or France, is a plus
Fluent in English. Knowledge of French is a plus
