ABOUT YOUR ROLE
In this role you will be responsible for maintaining, improving and developing new label or film products.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
Define and scope the projects together with the project owners in early stage to understand and capture the voice and needs of the market/customer/organization;
Develop new and improve existing products and production processes on a project base;
Coordination and execution of projects within the given time frame and budget. This may include full implementation of new products in production, including lab scale trials, tests and production trials;
Support other departments such as marketing, sales and operations with specific knowledge and/or expertise on products;
Generate new ideas and concepts for the commercial application of existing and new technologies
Report to Manager R&D
WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:
A minimum of 2 years of working experience, preferably in the development of labeling packaging materials or plastic film constructions;
Well developed project management skills by leading R&D projects;
A strong customer focus, demonstrated record of understanding customer needs and translation to product performances
Demonstrated record of Business Acumen
Key personal attributes and skills required:
Self motivated, ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to:
Work in cross functional matrix teams
Work with materials suppliers and technology partners
Combine creative and analytical skills to resolve complex problems
Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English
EDUCATION:
Education on academic level, preferably in the field of polymer, material or chemical science / engineering
