职位描述
Main Purpose of the job:
To be the technical contact window of LOM program team and customer product development teams, ESI managers integrate and coordinate LOM internal and external resources to provide product technical solutions to customers, in order to improve product concept feasibility, product design maturity, and ultimately customer satisfaction.
Essential responsibilities
1.Support Concept Phase and RFQ activities by reviewing customer data and providing initial technological support which is needed for quotation
2.Be one of the Fixed Core team members in OEM project and act as main technical contact between internal program team and customers, bridging communication to collect design or product requirements, discuss design related issues, and gather feedback.
3. As a co-located ESI, he/ she is required to work with customers' design teams and coordinate LOM internal resources to support their technical personnel and ensure the design concept are good/ suitable in term of manufacturability perspective.
4.As project team member, he/ she is required to support project from concept to mass-production stage by conducting project's technical evaluation, coordinating for flow simulation support, providing proposals to customers, trouble-shooting build related design issues, and ensure customer requirements are achieved from design transfer to production point of view
5. Adhere to company policies and regulations.
Other tasks specified by the supervisor
?Support ESI process development and optimization
BACK OFFICE
Act as Back Office ESI and support Front End ESIs in project related technical studies
Interact with manufacturing team (competence teams, assembly solutions, BCUs) to collect/ review technical feedback during Concepting phase
Job requirements(Education, experience & skills)
1.Bachelor or Master degree or equivalent, in related engineering majors
2.Minimum of five years experience (10 years for Senior ESI) in product design & development of mechanical parts, preferably in handheld consumer electronics products
3.Good interpersonal and communication skill (both written and verbal in English and Chinese)
4.Able to work independently and under high pressure environment
5.Solid mobile phone design understanding
6.Plastic injection mould/ stamping tool design or manufacturing experience
7.Strong Design-for-Manufacturing in mass production environment know-how
8.Experiences in mobile phone manufacturing process, such as moulding (IMD and IML), stamping, decoration/ painting technologies, and assembly process
9.Working experience with multinational company is preferred
10.Preferable to have 3D modeling skill (Pro-Engineer or Catia)
11.Preferable to equip with mobile phone design experience
