Responsibility:
l.Reliability and critical static equipment performance improvement
-To implement maintenance plan, overhaul and quality control plan in scheduled shutdown/TAR for critical static equipment;
-To perform root causes analysis and trouble shooting for static equipment and propose improvement plan;
-To diagnosis on plant static equipments, provide input and contribute maintenance planning to improve equipment reliability.
-To follow up daily maintenance activities and maintain critical history and reliability data on critical static equipment;
-To set up spare parts inventory safety stock for static equipment.
2. Knowledge management
-To Provide technical coach, training and consultation for MA, contractors, and other technical staff to develop their technical skill on some of critical static equipment;
-To develop work instruction or maintenance standing operating procedure (SOP) for some of static equipment.
-To participate network/seminar in BP PTA plant and external work to catch new maintenance technology development in static equipment and share best practices to improve plant reliability, safety and cost efficiency.
3.Safety and integrity management
-To execute the assigned work order which includes routine inspection, repair, preventive maintenance, trouble shooting, overhaul and plant turnaround activities, according to related maintenance procedures and Work Instruction and Mechanical Leader's instruction.
-To lead some of critical static equipment overhaul and ensure risk assessment are properly done;
-To supervise contractor to perform some of critical static equipment maintenance work safely.
-To report any unsafe condition, potential environmental problem, any opportunities to improve in his/her work area based on his/her knowledge, experience and lesson learnt.
-To develop lump sum package for TAR tasks according to equipment specification.
-To develop quality control plan for some of critical equipment overhaul.

Requirement:
1.Educational background
College graduated, majored in Mechanical Engineering, mechanical maintenance, or equivalent discipline.
Experience
-Requires at least 7 years of experience in mechanical engineer or static equipment maintenance.
-Has working experience and demonstrated strong understanding in static equipment like boiler, furnace, heat exchanger, pressure vessel, tower, column, piping and valve etc.
-Skillful application of repairing technique and tools used on above static equipments' maintenance, On some of above equipment are mastery.
-Working knowledge and experience on generic static maintenance, like bolting and flange connection, sealing system and gasket selection, piping and valve code and selection, pressure test, PSV test, welding application etc. Well aware of most advanced technology development in relevant area.
-Working knowledge and experience on assurance of engineering integrity, like use of technical standard and assurance process, assessment and mitigation of risk, assurance of competency of personnel etc.
-Working knowledge and skill on maintenance system and process, like preventive and predictive maintenance, reliability centered maintenance, root cause failure analysis, equipment specific maintenance plan etc.
-Respect for and ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
3.Other
-Language skill-skilful English reading, writing, speaking; fluent mandarin speaking;
Good understanding and working experience of maintenance work order process.
-Skillful PC skill.

BP Zhuhai Chemical Co., Ltd. is a joint venture of BP 85% and Zhuhai Fuhua Group 15% (BPZ) BPZ manufactures Purified Terephthalic Acid (PTA). BPZ phase I, 350,000 tonne PTA plant investment, was completed successfully in Q1 2003. The phase I investment reaches US$360m. BPZ produces high quality PTA for the China market and uses BP’s advanced X technology in PTA industry. The plant is the most advanced of its kind in China.

A phase II project to expand PTA production to 900,000 tonnes more per annum using BP’s most advanced SOX production technology is under construction now and was put into production in Q4 2007 successfully. The phase II investment in BPZ is over US$300m.
