Essential Duties & Responsibilities;

• Assist the Product Development and Product Engineering Departments in the refinement and interpretation of their designs and communicate details to factories. Assist to Product Creation team to meet Buy Readiness.

• Work with the factories'and Timberland Production Departments to shorten the commercialization process and hit the buy readiness requirement.
• Provide back up to ensure the compliance of commercialization time lines satisfying both production time frames and Stratham development.
• Assist in coordinating critical path details with their factories.
• Interface with the Sr. Commercialization Manager and resolve all of technical manufacturing issues which may impact production reliability.
• Provide the factories with technical assistance in the correction of quality and production problems.
• Oversee the production of the pilot lots of shoes.
• Be aware of new ideas and concepts in shoemaking and materials. Alert Stratham to these points.
• Transmit production ideas to the Development Department.
• Follow commercialization calendar and implement the model meeting company Buy Readiness due date.

Qualifications:

• College diploma or degree from recognized educational entity focusing on shoemaking or engineering.
• 5 - 7 years shoe making experience as a technical shoemaker or pattern maker
• Working knowledge of design, pattern making, materials and experience with CAD/CAM design.
• Preferred English in speaking, written, listening fluency.
