岗位职责:

Teaching and Learning
1.You will have experience and knowledge of a broad range of international sports with an ability to teach the key skills across the range of those featured in the PE curriculum. High proficiency in basketball, football (soccer) and volleyball are essential, with a good ability to deliver lessons in table-tennis, badminton, athletics, and swimming desirable.
2.Plan and deliver consistently outstanding lessons according to the six DCI Core Teacher Standards
3.Use a wide range of teaching strategies (such as blended learning, group work, student-led learning) in delivering engaging lessons in a safe environment.
4.Contribute to the ongoing development of the PE Department program and the subject Schemes of Work
5.Accurate assessment of student attainment in curriculum learning and keep accurate and updated records in accordance with the school’s policies on assessment and reporting.
6.Prioritise high-quality student feedback as a key part of student development.
7.Build Student Agency into your Teaching.

Student Support
1.Pastoral support in the form of a Co-Tutor.
2.Actively encourage students to ask inquisitive questions both in and out of class
3.Awareness of the social, moral, spiritual, and linguistic needs of students

External Relations
1.Establish working relationships with sports clubs, qualified coaches in a range of sports, and qualified referees in the local area
2.You will actively seek new opportunities for students to engage with outdoor education
3.Work with the Director of Sport to acquire equipment and resources from a range of vendors

Co-Curricular Activities (CCA’s)
1.It is expected that PE Staff will lead three PE CCA’s per week
2.PE teachers are expected to accompany School Teams in competitions on Saturday mornings in our regional Conference

Child Protection and Safeguarding
1.All staff are expected to adhere to the school’s Code of Conduct
2.You will participate in regular training in the Safeguarding and Protection of Children

Any other duties as instructed by the Director.

任职资格:

1.Bachelor degree or above, graduated from related disciplines and qualified teacher certificate;
2.Good command of English and Chinese, overseas study experience is preferred;
3.2 years or above related working experience;
4.Objective to understand the psychological characteristics of high school students.
