Role Description – summary

New application development in mechanical design for packaging
application

Function package development in mechanical design for packaging
application

Testing and validation of the proposal and design

Main Accountabilities & Responsibilities

• Make out the robot
  cell/application proposal and simulation, material budget;
• Layout/concept design
  & detailed design, including the robot gripper and fixture and other
  accessory etc.;
• Prepare technical documentation;
• Supervisor of the machining,
  assembling & commissioning;
• On time delivery,
  complete the designated job in a predefined time period with good quality;

Education

·
Bachelor’s
degree or above

·
Major in mechanical and automation

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

·
Minimum 8 years of experience in relevant
industry (must)

·
Minimum 5 years of experience
of mechanical design (must)

·
Knowledge on mechanical
standard components such as pneumatic cylinder/ rail guide/ gear reducer…(must)

·
Knowledge on material
choosing/ heat treatment/ structural machinability; (must)

·
Experience of packaging
application and dedicated machine design; (preferred)

·
Knowledge on PLC/ sensor/
servo motor; (preferred)

·
Good English skills of reading,
listening,
speaking & writing (reading
is must, others desired.)

·
Familiar with 3D software
(SolidWorks/ProE/Inventor) & Auto CAD (must)

·
Familiar with robot handling gripper; (preferred)
