Job Summary:

Design/customize new products for identified customer applications. Support new product design and development activities of T-O-D engineering.

Essential Functions

l Design/customize new products in accordance with company and department procedures.

l Generate appropriate documents such as product specifications, drawing and test plan. Ensure efficient product transfer to production.

l Train engineers on related product knowledge, engineering procedures and technical skill.

l Prepare reports and presentations as needed to communicate project status and issues to customer and management.

l Support Sales/Marketing and understand customer application and requirements. Implement applicable product test plan to ensure product conformance to functional, quality, reliability and agency requirements.

l Use appropriate analytical tools to analyze and interpret data, and reach relevant conclusions. Review and verify that any test results, data analysis and conclusions for a specific project are adequate and accurate.

l Support manufacturing on design issue related to product quality and testing. Resolve technical problems during product development and after production launch. Evaluate and approve requested part/product deviation from specification.

l Evaluate, test, and approve any design/material related changes on assigned products, which would affect product performance or reliability.

Job Qualifications

l B.S. in Material Engineering or higher.

l Minimum 5 years’ experience, including 3 years in NTC product.

l Sound knowledge of engineering theory and design practices.

l Knowledge of project management is preferred.

l Good communication in verbal and written English.

l Familiar with production process flow, product design, testing and application.

l Experience in NTC element component design and manufacture is essential.

l Knowledge of NTC/PTC packaged sensor product and design.
