Key Responsibilities

· Calibrate engine management systems on engines and vehicles to meet emissions, driveability, and performance goals;
· Perform developmental tests on engines and vehicles to gather data as required;
· Trouble shoot engine management system related problems as required;
· Write technical reports and presentations to communicate data, test results, and project status for internal and external purposes;
· Some amount of traveling is required – may require extended traveling during seasonal development test trips.
· Training period in Europe mandatory

Primary requirement for candidate

· Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering with courses on internal combustion engines; Master’s degree is preferred.
· Ideally has experience on common rail, or diesel calibration.
· 2~4 years test or research experience on automotive engines (gasoline or diesel) is highly preferred;
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills; ability to use computer based tools such as Excel, Matlab, etc.. to solve engineering problems;
· Ability to read, write and speak in English fluently.
· Mature, patient, job-motivation, job-stability, willing to learn, quick to learn, able to grasp new concepts, flexible, team player, able to work under pressure
· Driver’s license
