Major Job Responsibilities

Manage the components sourcing activities in China to support Diesel business growth. Lead all supplier activities to improve supplier quality, delivery, quotation process etc.

Lead supplier selection process
Lead Supplier APQP/PPAP activities, make sure the sourcing parts to meet project timing
Organize technical reviews with different functions to make sure all issues solved on time.
Conduct supplier audit based on MCA(manufacturing capability assessment) requirements.
Lead the issue resolution and root-cause analysis processes associated with supplier quality issues
Monitor performance of supplier include quality scorecard, delivery, fast response, cost reduction etc. to meet excellence target
To track supplier quotation process and sample building lead time
To make sure supplier to follow the change management process
To provide necessary trainings to supplier, make sure supplier fully understand company requirements.

Qualifications:


Must be mechanical engineering education
Passion to learn
Fluent English language skill both oral and written
Strong problem solving skill with technical background. (Six Sigma, 5WHY etc)
Must have demonstrated professional understanding of APQP/PPAP processes and FMEA
Must be willing to work in a results driven, fast paced environment, with minimal supervision
Auto Industry Manufacturing background and precision machining industry preferred
At least 5 years supplier management experience, top 500 companies is preferred.
