Responsibilities:
1. Accountability #1: OE project management
a) To work closely with sales, product design team and plant production Launch team to manage program profitability
b) Must be capable of planning and organizing technical projects and design work against deadlines at minimum technical risk
c) Must have excellent communication skills to be able to work effectively with customers and clearly explain complex technical issues
d) Must have common sense and logic to be able to understand customer requirements and to effectively transfer them into design requirements
2. Accountability #2: GAPQP（4 phase）
1) Manage customer development programs to make sure program been launched smoothly.
2) Make sure Gates standard program development process—GAPQP discipline been followed and meet customer request in the timing manner
3) Be highly analytical and is a good problem solver. Requires creativity to find new solutions or alternatives to system problems
4) Must be capable of planning and performing system performance test and analysis work in a timely manner and must be proficient at reading and understanding engineering drawings.
5) Good understanding of test techniques, including measurement of mechanical vibration, and instrumentation.
3. Accountability #3: ECR
a) Ensure ECR smoothly approval process
b) Review the ECR record be well kept in document center
Requirement:
1. Bachelor degree in automobile/engine industry or related disciplines.
2. Minimum 5 years’ experience as project/development engineer in automotive industry, well familiar APQP in auto industry; well-known internal combustion engine working principle is plus.
3. Proficiency in reading and understanding engineering drawings.
4. Fluent oral and written English.
5. Expertise at customer program development and launch managing.
6. Strong experience and knowledge at Mechanical Engineering.
7. Very good capability for planning, organizing and managing skills, can give the direction and guidance to others.
8. Good team works and very good communication skills are required.
