As key management representative, the General Manager is required to:

? Efficiently plan, organize, and direct the overall operation of the China central and regional offices ensuring a high level of effectiveness in meeting expectations in quality, on-time delivery, prices, responsiveness, samples, quotations, and flow of information as well as managing productivity, to lower the cost structure. Efficiently follow processes, rules, and orders

? Organize, synchronize, and prioritize work for each department/office.

? Implement new and continuous improvement programs to ameliorate quality, reduce costs, and meet delivery dates.

? Implement and maintain a teamwork atmosphere. Teamwork is key!!!

? Immediately respond to emails received from the New York and Mexico offices.

? Maintain full and efficient communication between offices (international and regional), departments, employees, and external service providers (ex. Forwarders).

? Determine and manage the performance goals for each employee in order to enable them to meet objectives established by the corporation.

? Delegate work to the appropriate departments and employees


Job Details

Responsibilities include:
1. Ensuring that the information flow between employees and between Parnas and its customer is working correctly and efficiently
2. Supervising other managers and staff
a. An efficient morning, 20 minute, organizational meeting with the managers must be held daily in order to clarify and confirm the work for the day.
3. Setting efficient and achievable goals for an entire department or division based on the corporation's growth plan and ensuring that the goals are accomplished
4. Knowing how to delegate work and doing so accordingly
5. Overseeing and cordinating follow-ups of visits to vendors and shows
6. Being a team player and efficiently enforcing teamwork throughout the company.
7. Making sure that every employee is consistently and correctly following up on orders
8. Coordinating business operations efficiently
9. Efficiently overseeing a budget
10. Developing strong business relationships with vendors and negotiating better prices
11. Developing new business relationships with new vendors
12. Visiting regional offices and markets to follow up current status and see new styles
a. Send a report, about the visit to the New York Director
13. Confirming and evaluating major quality problems and color differences before the merchandiser contacts the client.
a. Also ensuring that photos and samples are sent to the client, as requested
