Job Title: Lingerie Production and Sourcing Manager
 Location : Guangzhou or Shantou City

Job Summary
The Production Manager will work will follow-up the production and sourcing process from start to finish and will collaborate with cross-functional partners in the business.

 

Examples of Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Interact with vendors and various departments to build sustainable business relationships.
· Knowledgeable of global sourcing of fabrics and trims.
· Assists in the development of new resources, attends meetings with suppliers, and reviews supplier factories and mills, and negotiates costs.
· Track all phases of development including fabric, color, trim, artwork, samples to ensure on time delivery.
· Partner with design in the review, evaluation, development, and acceptance of fabrics, trims and findings.
· Work with Design on carry-overs looking at price, margins and working with Production team to find new factories to send styles.
· Extensive travel to vendors & conventions.
· Assist in Development and maintenance of time and action calendar.
· Ensure all development is in compliance with Dreamgirl policies and procedures.
· Communicate with factories via Grovesite, email and phone for target prices, sample deliveries, lab dips.
· Analyze approval timing to ensure the process is efficient– look for places to improve.

Follow-up Production from start to finish.
Maintain data and files for production matters and provide weekly reports to managers/supervisors.
Update MRP system weekly with factory Work in Progress (WIP) report.
Set up Item and Style Master or other coding in MRP system.
Perform other duties and functions as assigned.
 
Qualifications:
· Strong knowledge base in lingerie and sleepwear
· Knowledge of China production
· Knowledge of Cambodia production
· Strong analysis capability in regards to factory efficiencies/strengths/capacities
· Good taste level, in order to support designers with new fabrics, laces etc
· Approval/analysis of all sub-contractors
· Works with Mills in order to get 30 yard sample runs of fabrics – solids and prints for sample development – photo shoot, sew-by, 举报 分享
