1. Plan, schedule and action Buyer trip appointments with suppliers. Maintain the critical path spreadsheet.
2. Trip pack distribution to suppliers and follow up, and communicate any problems to FL Manager.
3. Ensure all information is recorded on the company server.
4. Help Suppliers pre-select the trays of product to show buyers in their appointments, based on the buyers inspiration pack.
5. Accompany Jewelry Buyers on appointments to QD suppliers to translate instructions from Buyer to Supplier. Prepare and write the trip pack with the buyers selection and ensure the samples are sent correctly and on time.
6. Track all sample requests and ensure they are sent correctly and on time.
7. Assist the FL Manager as and when required.
8. Weekly Best and Worst meeting with MD team.
9. Communicate with Buyers and Suppliers on urgent Press Requests.
10. Request costing of samples from suppliers.
11. Daily email communication to buyers and suppliers.
12. Excellent standard of English, both written and spoken.
13. 3 years minimum experience in the fashion jewelry industry.
14. Technical knowledge of jewelry production techniques and construction methods.
15. Sourcing new components from the QD market, processing and sending the component orders and preparing the financial balance sheet and expenses statement weekly.
