职位描述
1. Business Processes
- Direct all aggregate production and sales activities with the support of plant operation team and BU commercial team
- Identifies for the BU strategic review, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of his area strategic position and provides a realistic assessment of markets' trends and external economic factors.
- Following the business model and the strategic review, drives performance improvement objectives through performance plan.
- Proposes a budget for his area consistent with the conclusion of the strategic review and the performance plan and based on well defined assumptions regarding the environment.
- Commits to the budgeted financial objectives and undertakes all actions required to achieve the objectives included in the budget.
- Analyses monthly results (Production and Sales KPIs)..
- Provides transport plan to Logistics Department.
- Ensures credit policy in accordance with Credit Management Policy.
2. Performance Improvement
- Owns EVA targets of his area and contributes to reach those targets by influencing the main levers: working capital, revenue, costs ...
- Holds direct responsibility for the full implementation of Lafarge operating model and performance programs in the area under his responsibility.
- Determines ambitious targets and translates them through the performance plan (revenues and manufacturing), guarantees effective actions and follows up progress in achievement with support from Marketing and Technical Director.
- Ensures optimal use of assets.
- Develops industrial performance plan with support of BU industrial director.
- Seeks best practices and makes best practices of his own area available to others.
- Uses KPI's to set objectives and measure progress with support from Industrial Director.
3. Strategy and Development
- Detects and informs the Strategy Director, of risks and opportunities that affect the business in the zone in which he is involved.
- Improves margin through the right combination of products, services, location and cost reduction.
- Evaluate the RMX market potentials and propose development strategy in this area
4. People Management
- Manages, motivates and coordinates teams by providing clear direction, setting objectives and monitoring performance in accordance BU procedures.
- Attracts, develops and retains qualified personnel.
- Ensures proper implementation of needed development and training programs with Human Resources Manager.
- Proposes salary reviews for exempt staff and incentives to reward performance, decides for non exempt.
- Proposes to Human Resources Manager all employment and dismissals.
5. External relations
- Strengthens relations with key customers, decision makers and authorities in the short and long term interest.
- Ensures customer issues are dealt with effectively and follows up personally if necessary.
- Represents locally the company in external events and Aggregate associations..
- Works with Marketing and SCSM on formulas with laboratories, local authorities.
6. Safety and environment
- Ensures safe and healthy working conditions at all times for all people working on his sites.
- Implements an effective safety action plan including training, communication, strict compliance with all safety rules and regulation, audit ... aligned with the HSMS developed by the region with support of Safety Director.
