Job Description:

The HEX Black-Belt 1 is responsible to develop & apply the purchasing strategies to the Excavator product group through International CPPD team ( ICT ) process. This position is assigned to one-ICT team. Primary deliverables include Sourcing Strategies, Supplier Selection, APQP Conformance through Supply-Chain, Quality Improvement & Cost Management. This position leads the purchasing sub-team for the ICTs with representatives from each participating site purchasing team and the global segment team process control engineers & buyers. This position is located in Akashi, Japan due to proximity to the Hydraulic Excavator Design Center.

Requirements:

Relevant experience in Engineering, Manufacturing or Purchasing. Experience in Project Management & Team Leadership is critical to succeed. Experience in one or more of the following categories: Hydraulics, Electrical & Electronics, Fabrications, Engine Systems, Cooling Systems, Cab Systems

desired_skills_qualifications: Experience in 6 Sigma methodologies & APQP, TS16949 is highly desired. Excellent communication skills; Embraces diversity; Strong initiative & Business acumen capability
