As a Senior Engineer, you will have the opportunity to direct and contribute to the concept, development, and design of complex components, subsystems, or processes while strengthening your analytical skills and mastery of engineering concepts. You will partner with and provide technical guidance to global teams. You will contribute to the planning and delivery of projects, continually learn and stay abreast of innovative technology, mentor and coach team members, and broaden your professional network.

In this role, you will also deepen your knowledge base of Caterpillar’s products, technologies, processes, services and systems, which you will use to:

· Troubleshooting testcell facilities on time and try minimize the downtime.

· Engine testcell acquisition system management.

· Develop test rig according company test procedure.

· Optimize engine testcell equipments operation procedure and maintenance procedure.

· Organize the testcell calibration and prevent maintenance.Ensure the testbed can produce accurate data.

Required Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have a BSME or BSEE or equivalent with 5 to 10 years of experience in instrumentation for engine testing.

Self-starter (initiative and sense of urgency in work)
Good stress tolerance (Ability to work efficiently / effectively in stressful situations)

Good people / interpersonal skills
Strong customer focus
Task management skills (multiple tasks & priorities)
Analytical (troubleshooting and analysis) skills
Ability to learn quickly and retain pertinent information
Ability to concisely and accurately communicate technical information

Desirable Qualifications

Knowledge of PC hardware & software
Knowledge of transducers and instrumentation
Knowledge of digital data acquisition techniques & systems
Knowledge of basic measurement techniques for pressure, temperature, flow, displacement, vibration, and strain.
Knowledge and experience in engine testcell facilities.
