Job Duties,
This position will be located onsite at the client’s facility and will support both domestic and international transportation operations.

Domestic Operations :

Support the goals and activities of the Ground Transportation Operations Center (GTOC-C) to resolvesupplier and carrier issues impacting the client facility..

Identify cost reduction opportunities through data analysis. Ensure committed service levels are delivered to client facility .Onboarding of new lanes and new suppliers in the GTOC-C process.

International Operations

Support inbound and outbound transportation operations working with carriers, forwarders and customs brokers accordingly to the requirements of the client facility. Provide support for freight bill verification and international freight ( ocean and air ) procurement activities

This position needs to maintain a good communication channel and business relationship with the client facility to understand their commercial and operational requirements and provide quality service and solutions accordingly.


Qualifications:
Requires a college or university degree or equivalent experience
a minimum of 3 years experience in international & domestic logistics/transportation.
Role requires a strong ability to analyze data and effectively present optimal business solutions whilst understanding the client’s requirements.
Strong communications (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
Excellent PC skills (Microsoft Word and Excel, PowerPoint or equivalent) are also required.
Proficiency in Mandarin and English is a basic requirement.

This position requires an individual to be self motivated and operate effectively in a non-rigid organization structure.
