Position Title: VS Manager

Overview:
Manage and lead Business Unit team to meet set targets including productivity and quality index.??

Dimension:
? Meet strategic and profit plans regarding:
- Production volume
- Manufacturing profits
- DOH (Inventory)
- Cost Saving
- On-time Products
? Keep the quality and environment standards meet business needs
? Directly supervised employee number: 8
? Indirectly supervised employee number: about 200

Principle Accountabilites:
? Lead, coaches, facilitates a cross functional team within defined business unit to achieve set targets
? Focus on customer satisfaction by managing quality delivery and quick response to customer need
? Ensure that safety and quality are given first priority by motivating manufacturing personnel
? Elimate waste and improve flow using lean principle wihin the VS
? Execute operationel target by managing productivity, capacity and cost improvement.
? Harmonize efforts with site functional leaders to ensure consistency
? Develop employee excellence through continuous improvement culture and appropriate training. Ensure good communication within is group and in connection with fonctional departments.
? Develop effective succession plan to developp long term perspectives within the VS.
? Develop and communicate best place to work practices

Requirements:
? Bachelor degree with major in Mechanical or related engineering
? Good written with basic oral english language skill
? More than 5 years manufacturing management experience
? Ability to lead, plan and manage changes
? Strong interpersonal skill
? Problem solving
? Good English in reading and writing

Xuzhou Meritor Axle Co.,Ltd (XMAL) is a Sino-America joint venture between Meritor Automotive,Inc,US and Xuzhou Construction Machinery Group Inc. with a total investment of ＄24,087M US dollars and registered capital of ＄16,803M dollars. Meritor holds 60% of the registered capital and XCMG holds 40%. XMAL introduces advanced SOMA axle manufacturing technology and is the largest manufacturer of the construction equipment axles and specialty vehicle axles in China. There are more than 900 employees at present.
Its major products include rigid axle, steering axle, tandem axle and tridem axles used for varies of wheeled vehicles. These vehicles are heavy duty truck, dump truck, desert truck and oil-explored vehicles, truck crane, terrain rough crane and other construction machinery and specialty vehicles. XMAL also export its products to Meritor’s plants in North American and Europe.
XMAL has powerful axle development and research teams. Axle test lab is so complete and manufacturing technology and inspection means are so advanced. After sales service system is quite efficient.
