Job Requirements,
1.1-3 years engineering /civil design/interior design or other related experience. Strong knowledge of CAD & Computers related working needed
2.Knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD required
3.Good verbal and written communication skills
4.Able to design medium to large standard jobs with some deviation from standard tools, products or practices

Job description,
1.Support the Project specification team in inland to assist Spec sales in Glass related Hardware
2.Establishing standards and formats in door scheduling Share test data for product against competition
3.Benchmarking of products
4.* Study & qualify for Course study of GAI/ AHC
5.* Library of all competition data
6.This position is responsible for the design of Glass systems using company tools and operating protocols
7.Receives project specifications from sales team and designs DOOR/ GLASS CONTROLS system and other related systems.
8.Chooses the appropriate mix of products and installation methods to provide the most cost effective solution.
9.Prepares all required submittals and schedules subsequent hand-off to sales / operations.
10.Prepares the schedule of ordering for all locally required products, spares and equipment. Prepares specifications and
11.drawings for special components and products purchased from outside suppliers.
12.Acts as a technical resource to sales / service team and customer as needed.
13.Independently designs DC systems for standard and/or critical environment facilities & may need to create unique design solutions to meet specific customer requirements.
14.Designs GLASS PACKAGES for large and/or complex buildings consisting of mechanical system layouts, selecting proper types & sizes of company products and products from outside suppliers to meet project requirements.
15.Prepare bill of materials, sequence of operations, project plans, specifications and commercial documents.
16.Analyzes plans, construction contract specifications and codes to determine project requirements and risks.
17.Provides start-up and checkout documentation to the service / project team for use in commissioning and validation.
18.Prepares engineering re-estimate and follows up with appropriate sales and management to assure understanding and compliance with job scope.
19.Prepares all information on pre-installation extras or change orders to submit to customer or general/ subcontractor.
20.Oversees the creation of system graphics.
21.Ensures the job folder is organized and maintained including all pertinent job related information. Maintain a library of the submittals in DC division.
