Responsibilities
- Responsible for all daily operations of team members and ensure compliance within area guidelines and Company's policies. Review and cross-check accuracy of shipment and irregularities reports
- Update superiors on standards of carriers; liaise with customers on shipment / production forecast
- Conduct regular review of existing procedures and systems with team members and propose improvement / changes where required followed by implementation and control upon acceptance of proposal
- Cross check SOP and quotation from M&S and overseas offices
- Review reports and inform parties concerned on any irregularities and claims
- To assist, train both new and existing team members when necessary
- Incident management - handle customers and carriers' inquiries, complaints, claims follow up, credit terms and credit status, and coordinate with departments concerned on related issues
- Monitor team members' performance and workload and provide assistance where and when necessary and work with superiors on reallocation of resources
- To take up additional tasks as assigned
- Back up for other team members when necessary


Requirements & Skills
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Oceanfreight forwarder.
- Excellent and thorough knowledge of Oceanfreight.
- Operational know-how (Customer Service and Document Processing)
- Fluent in local language and English.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
