职位描述

Job Title：Director China Supply Chain

Department：Supply Chain

Location：Putian, Fujian, China

Report to：GM/VP China Sourcing Office & Global Sourcing

Job Summary：

The Director is responsible for demand planning, PO management, Work in Process tracking, Vendor Performance systems and Logistics for all products in coordination with TOMS Supply Chain team in the USA.

Essential Functions:

Production/Capacity Planning:

· Create and manage process with vendors to report and update accurate factory capacity plans on a monthly and annual basis

· Work the Global Supply Chain (GSC) team to develop production/capacity plans at each vendor to meet TOMS requirements

· Support GSC in working with vendors to manage capacity in achieving TOMS flexibility requirements

PO Management:

· Work with GSC to create and manage PO’s to optimize delivery performance and overall service levels to TOMS customers

· Work closely with all vendors to assure that all PO’s are being confirmed in a timely manner according to requested delivery dates

· Proactively monitor manage Vendor Work in Process (WIP), ensuring key milestones are achieved and managing issues to resolution

Vendor Performance:

· Work with GSC and China team to create and manage a comprehensive system to measure, track and improve vendor performance (KPI’s) in areas of delivery performance, quality, development and compliance

· Create and deploy management routines coupled with vendor scorecards to manage vendor performance

· Establish and communicate corrective action plans to correct poor performance and allocation plans to reward top performance

Logistics:

· Work with GSC and freight forwarders to make sure that all PO’s are booked and shipped on time in accordance with TOMS supply chain standard operating procedures

· Work with GSC in managing freight forwarders and 3PLs in China ensuring performance targets are achieved

· Communication of and resolution of delays in shipment of all PO’s with the GSC team

Sourcing and Product Costing:

· Working with China Team, Product Team and GSC, develop and implement global sourcing strategy to achieve TOMS requirements for commercial and giving products

· Analyze and breakdown product costs and use information to develop innovative solutions to optimize costs and support product development process

Oversee and lead the China supply chain team and processes

· Coach, mentor and train China Supply Chain talent, both on an individual and team basis

· Work with global supply chain process leadership to plan and drive improvements to the logistics, production planning and PO management processes. Ensure regional processes remained aligned with overall TOMS processes

· Develop and deploy Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) that are integrated with internal and external stakeholders, including other departments, suppliers and customers

· Establish and conduct daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly performance management of supply chain operations

· Build and maintain a positive, collaborative relationship between the China supply chain team and the Global Supply Chain team, other areas of TOMS and TOMS’s external partners and customers

Essential Skills:

· Advanced supply chain knowledge and able to use the knowledge to manage performance and drive improvements

· Strong business, leadership, planning and organizing skills; including the ability to provide innovative, strategic ideas to management, communicate value, gain approval and implement effectively

· Exceptional ability to work independently and effectively manage employees in a multi-layer, globally disbursed function.

· Able to mentor and grow talent, including delivering effective performance management messages to subordinates.

· Excellent communication, analytical and project management skills required.

· Ability to participate as a team-member as well as leader in a fast paced, team oriented environment.

· Use sound judgment in decision making with results driven orientation.

· Ability to facilitate group meetings.

· Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills

· Ability to identify, communicate and resolve issues in Chinese and English

· Experience with high-volume consumer products supply chains

· Experience with SAP

Qualifications:

· Minimum of 10 years’ experience in supply chain planning with a minimum of 10 years in a management role

· B.A./B.S. in business or technical area required

Special Requirements:

· Expect approximately 20% travel, mostly domestically within China
