Main Objectives:
*Work closely with the SCM team, peer groups to ensure Nordson's corporate (SCM) Supply Chain Management performance metrics are reached or exceeded.
*Implement Corporate Supply Chain Management Standard works and best practice throughout China supply chain management.
*Support the new product development and/or product transfer.
*Drive cost saving and productivity improvement by localization, negotiation, supplies base optimization and other.
*Supplier sourcing, development and management.
*Other task may be assigned by the manager or the company.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
*Supplier management and continuous improvement of supplier performance is a primary responsibility of this job. Promptly respond and meet personally with suppliers, at their facility or Nordson’s facility to address issues as required to effectively manage them.
*Develop & execute against regional Commodity Strategies, & support their alignment with global Commodity Strategies.
*Negotiate agreements, terms, conditions, logistics and pricing with suppliers as required.
*Take the lead from China supply chain under the supervision of the manager to support product transfer, products improvement or new designed product implement.
*Manage material supply and stable and flexibility material supply to support business goals.
*Communicate problems or difficulties related to the proper performance of the job. And recommending effective corrective action on problems.
*Follow all work processes, rules and expected behaviors for Nordson China employees.
*Perform other duties as assigned by manager. .

Qualification Requirements / Degrees:
*Bachelor’s degree in mechanical is preferred.

Working Experience:
*5+ years total working experiences or more.
*At least 3 years working experience in supply chain related within an international company.
*Familiar with sourcing and purchasing process, cost and price analysis, purchase order and delivery management.

Skills:
*Be familiar with SAP or similar ERP.
*Be good at using MS-office software (excel, word, PPT, etc).
*Sourcing Skills.
*Fluent English communication skill both in writing and speaking.
*Strong communication skills with internal and external.
