MAIN FUNCTION OF THE ROLE:

Be responsible for internal controls, treasury and tax issues for all five legal entities (including the new acquisition) for China Security. Ensure proper business and controls process are in place and strictly followed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Ensure compliance with controllership requirements including compliance with US GAAP (for management reporting) and local financial reporting requirements (statutory accounts and tax filings) of all legal entities
- Ensure the business is compliance with the requirements of Sarbanes Oxley, FCPA; Tyco 3rd Party Programme; company policies and the overall control environment at a satisfactory level.
- Liaise with Internal and External Auditors on all matters including addressing any audit recommendations to be implemented within the appropriate timeframe.
- Manage all treasury requirements including banking facilities and working capital requirements of the business. Simplify bank structures when possible.
- Support/lead the implementation of financial processes, policies and systems in the new acquired company to allow accuracy and timeliness of financial data reporting.
- Drive business process simplification initiatives
- Manage and provide on-going leadership for staff development
- Provide support to any ad-hoc requirements as and when needed

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:

- Ability to work independently and proactively develop solutions with minimal guidance
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Mandarin.
- Strong understanding of both financial and operational processes.
- Have a minimum of 8 years of progressive financial management experience
- Show a strong ability to demonstrate continual learning and development.
- Have attention to detail.
- Experience in tax and treasury
