We are looking for a great Network Engineer to join our global Network Engineering team. The team is responsible for all network infrastructure and operational responsibilities, which includes managing Internet/WAN & core routers, switches and firewalls throughout the company. The ideal candidate will be someone who is very passionate about network and security initiatives.  Bringing a modern approach to managing network projects and deliverables using a cloud first, automation and programmable and repeatable process and procedures. Demonstrated experience with Ansible and other automation tool sets would be a valuable asset for this position.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan, design, implement, and provide ongoing support of network systems of high complexity in production, extranet, backbone, and corporate environments to fulfill business needs for performance and cost benefits
• Serve as a technical lead for hardware installation, configuration, and operational support of these networks’ routers, Firewalls, switches, load balancers, Wireless networking, VOIP, QOS Creating compliance reports and alerts for various security controls
• SD/WAN and Wan Acceleration architectural focused
• Deployment and administration Meraki Cloud Managed networking services
• Deployment and administration of AWS VPC, Private & Transit Networking, Direct Connect
• Implement new networking tools and write technical documentation for the ongoing administration of said tools
• Daily Production, Enterprise, Engineering and Corporate Networking change or MACD activities
• Provide 2nd level technical support to eHealth, Inc.’s  clients and to technical teams to resolve network issues and to support the implementation of new network architectural solutions Work with external auditors to provide evidence for security controls
• Write Standards and procedural documentation for the ongoing maintenance of the network program
• Evaluate new technology and bring opportunities forward that would improve the future network architecture, performance, and network services Participate in on-call rotation for security escalations
• Ensure all changes go through appropriate review, change control, and acceptance before implementation Requirements

Requirements:

At least 5 years related experience in infrastructure/network environments and designing, planning, documenting and implementing network LANs and WANs using latest technologies

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, or equivalent
• One or more security certifications like CCNA, CCNP for route/switch is desirable
• At least 5 years of experience in information technology. Most recent 2 years should be in network engineering
• Expert engineering knowledge of network hardware, specifically Cisco routers, Firewalls and switches, with a strong focus on data center technology such as Cisco Nexus and campus technologies
•  Extensive experience and expertise on IP routing protocols such as EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP
• Ability and technical depth to recommend new or enhanced network tools for respective technology components
• Knowledge of Cisco encryption technologies (IPSec, SSL), and hot standby protocols HSRP and VRRP
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with executives, engineers, and internal customers
• Excellent documentation skills and experience writing policies, standards and procedures
• Strong ability to troubleshoot complex security conditions, with multiple 3rd party integrations
• Great project management skill and ability to organize and prioritize work efficiently
