Job Responsibilities

 * Direct and control the shared service of Nordson China, including General Ledger/reporting, receivables, payables, demo inventory and fixed assets. Develop policies and procedures as required for these functions.
 * Direct a tight month-end close process and timely and accurate preparation of monthly financial statements (both US GAAP and PRC GAAP) and analyses reports, including reconciliation of intercompany accounts.
 * Provide financial analysis for Transfer pricing documentation.
 * Coordinate statutory audit to ensure statutory reporting timeliness and accuracy.
 * Coordinate internal audit, continuously optimize appropriate internal control, and ensure compliance of all internal policies and relevant regulations (including SOX).
 * Manage payables effectively, review and approve payment requests.
 * Monitor and control DSO, Manage AR effectively, push timely AR collection, support contract review and control credit risk.
 * Manage and control Demo inventories and assets effectively.
 * Review accounting vouchers, and responsible for filing of accounting vouchers.
 * Maintain and update Approval Matrix to meet the business change and development.
 * Provide financial data and information for yearly insurance renewal.
 * Closely cooperates with business unit and group controllers as well as corporate functions such as Treasury, Tax, and Financial Reporting on accounting and controlling initiatives and requirements.
 * Actively participate in the management of the business, monitoring, analyzing and interpreting financial and operational reports. Provide financial advice to management to identify and resolve business issues.
 * Identify best practices and continuous improvement opportunities and facilitates embedment of the practices into the organization.
 * Develops and improves accounting and control policies, procedures, work processes and reporting systems to support growth and efficiency, while reducing complexity and increasing speed.
 * Participate and take on additional assignments and projects as required.

Education and Experience

 * Bachelor degree in Accounting / Finance related fields.
 * At least 7 years related working experience in finance & accounting, including minimum 3 years at manager level; Experience of reporting share service for multi-companies is advantage. Minimum 5 years working experience in MNC (manufacturing experience preferred) in finance / accounting function. CPA is a plus

 * Proficient in SAP.
 * Good command in English both written and verbal.
 * Strong logical thinking, be good at analyses and summary.
