BU Finance Manager Shenzhen

Purpose of the position:

To support the Business Unit to achieve its financial targets and a key business partner to the BUM driving profitability and financial awareness.

Responsibilities:

- Support BU to achieve financial KPI’s.

- Key point of contact for Area finance to the BU (Controlling/NWC/Tax/accounting).

- Responsible for the implementation/execution of Area and Group finance projects and procedures

- Manager the accounts receivable function through in house or through the SSC to ensure collection KPI’s are met and collection process is in line with the Area Credit Policy.

- Responsible for Account payable function through in house or through the SSC to ensure DPO target is achieved as well as controls in place (parking/IPW).

- Responsible for other operative expense vendor management and indirect purchasing in line with Area procedure. Drive cost discipline awareness in the BU.

- Drive the operations to achieve the billing KPI’s (ASI/Unbilled files).

Responsible for timely and accurate GP reporting to Area (drive quality job costing/verify MGP accuracy/comment on variances).

- Ensure PAC/Area instructions are implemented and complied with.

- Support the BUM on the preparation of financial purchases/investments/lease agreements.

- Key contact for Area Tax point of contact.

- Active member of BU meetings, sharing key financial information and steering the team.

- To drive and lead the planning process within the BU.

- Regularly monitor financial performance both P & L and Balance sheet using the tools (PRA/MCR/MFR/Vendor reports).

- Training support to all BU colleagues on financial tool, know-how.

Requirements:

- University or equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting

- Proficiency in taxation, Good in AR

- Exposure on SAP

- Preferred experience in Freight Forwarding

- Knowledge of Logistic/forwarding as an advantage

- Good command of English and Mandarin
