District IT Infrastructure Engineer South China

Purpose of the position:

Provide first-level IT support to end-users. Ensure that IT requests are handled swiftly and that incidents are attended to and corrected within the defined service level agreements. Manage IT projects and communicate with internal/ external parties. Manage all IT related aspects of office and warehouse setup, expansion, relocation and closure. Improve current IT processes, procedures and documentation for a more effective IT setup.

Responsibilities:

- Ensure that IT requests are handled swiftly and that incidents are attended to and corrected within the defined service level agreements.

- Escalate IT incidents to ITCC team when necessary.

- Enforce Corporate IT standards by strictly following the Corporate IT manual.

- Coordinate with the district management for accurate sizing and provisioning of IT equipment and connectivity

- Implement full-fledge IT infrastructure for office and warehouse setup and provide the maintenance.

- Manage IT projects and communicate with internal/ external parties.

- Provide IT requirements for office expension, relocation and closure.

- Ensure that accurate and centralized record of all IT equipment and related maintenance agreements is maintained.

Liase with suppliers for the purchase of equipment

Requirements:

- Minimum of a four year degree from an accredited college or university in computer sciences or equivalent

- Experience in similar capacity (minimum 3 years)

- Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin

- High Integrity

- Responsible, dependable and able to work with minimum supervision

- Good communication skills

- Action oriented and target driven

- Excellent interpersonal skills

- Conflict management skills

- Ability to work in an environment with diverse cultures and people

- Ability to work in a team
