Major Responsibilities

• Develops or specifies test requirements, test cases, procedures, and methodologies.
• Conducts quality assurance tests and performs statistical analysis and develops corrective action plans for software, hardware, products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.
• Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements.
• Develops, applies and maintains test standards and metrics for multiple products for the Electronic Security market.

Minimum Qualification

• Strong testing experience on software/firmware, hardware of video products, such as Encoder/Decoder, IP camera, DVR, NVR, etc.
• Familiar with bug tracking software - identifying, reporting and tracking issues.
• Familiar with the product development lifecycle and have the ability to create test plans and test estimates based on functional requirements.
• Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, problem solving.
• Ability to learn to use new tools.
• Experience with automated testing technology would be a plus.
• Good communication skills.
• Fluent in English both verbal and written.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, electrical engineering or related field
• 3+ years software development or test experience
