Responsibility
1. Serve as a key adviser to the Regional Business Lead and help drive business strategy.
2. Play an active role in the development and implementation of Asia/Pacific growth strategy and the establishment of finance structure to support business growth.
3. Administer regional accounting, reporting, business analysis and control, internal control
4. Ensure the monthly result is accounted and presented correctly for the APAC Region and its companies by internal control and support to local companies
5. Support the local management in understanding and explaining the presented result
6. Drive business controlling and/or improvement projects and reviews within the region
7. Oversees company’s financial and accounting activities in APAC region by using accounting and economic skills to evaluate operating data, detect business trends
8. Review and prepare financial statements that are accurate, complete and comply with country requirements, corporate policies, industry practices, regulatory requirements and accounting principles
9. Coordinates all financial reporting functions in APAC region, include but not limited to accounting and bookkeeping, financial reporting, tax planning and investment analysis activities.
10. Preparation of budgets, forecasts and cash flows
11. Maintenance of financial ledgers and accounting processes
12. Preparation of Monthly Consolidated P&L and Balance Sheet
13. Timely production of statutory and internal financial reports
14. Financial modelling and analysis
15.Ensuring appropriate systems and internal controls are implemented and maintained
Education & Qualifications
1. Master degree, major in accounting, finance, audit or tax, business mgmt.
2. Minimum 10 years’experience in a finance role with at least 3 years in a managerial position
3. Previous experience from financial planning & analysis (FP&A), business controlling, in charge of internal change projects, mainly related to finance and efficiency.
4. At least 2-3 years working experience in Europe, past working experience in Sweden is a plus
Skill & Personality
1. A self-starter and good team player, with ability to operate in a dynamic environment and to contribute to a global strategy
2. Able to demonstrate good attention to detail, good judgment showing logical and analytical attitude and having a business focus and mindset
3. Experienced at balancing internal and external stakeholders.
4. Fluent in English communication and is comfortable presenting complicated ideas to different groups at various levels. Chinese language is a plus.
5. Computer literate with good Microsoft Office skills and solid understanding of accounting software principles
