职位描述：
Position Summary:

1. Support New Product Introductions by delivering assigned Process and Equipment solutions meeting or exceeding Quality and timeline targets

2. Ensure equipment 2nd source and cost savings targets be met through new supplier or new process introduction.

3. Contribute to effective resolution of chronic issues through innovative or out-of-box solutions

4. Ensure self development to continually upgrade overall performance.

5. Support Department efforts in People Development


Major Areas of Responsibility:

1. Assume Project Lead for delivering mid/high complex process and equipment solutions for assigned Products working independently for the most part.

2. Demonstrate expertise in minimum 1 process type involving different machines and utilize expertise to achieve optimized processes.

3. Participate in Progress review meetings providing updates and hilting key issues, and proposing solutions.

4. Engage actively with equipment Suppliers in finding solutions to ensure project stays on track.

5. Produce a full Monthly Report highlighting project status, key accomplishments and risks.

6. Be generally aware of Industry players in different segments and their main focus areas and strengths through Vendor Capability assessments and Trade Shows.

7. Provide technical inputs in 2nd source/alternative Vendor decisions demonstrating ability to understand machine concepts and matching to needs.

8. Implement equipment 2nd source and cost savings strategy using internal processes.

9. Implement chosen 2nd source equipment demonstrating initiative in finding solutions to problems working in close co-operation with Vendors.

10. Keep stake holders informed through regular reports hilting status vs plans, deviations and corrective actions to keep Project on track.

11. Escalate critical issues proactively.

12. Demonstrate sound engineering basis in problem analysis. Use process characterization to gain insight into chronic issues.

13. Utilize systematic problem solving methods (eg DMAIC) and statistics to narrow down causes and zero in through statistical validations.

14. Provide and implement solutions demonstrating innovation and 'out of the box' thinking.

15. Provide active support and technical inputs in Team based problem solving efforts.(eg Focus Team)

16. Respond to urgent Prodn and Customer problems and Periodic Report Writing to Stakeholders

17. Work with Superior to Develop Individual Development Plan and Diligently Achieve the Plan

18. Diligently maintain organizational knowledge thru' design guideline, design rules, supplier capability, knowledge management system (e.g. share-point) and etc.

19. Actively participate & present in internal knowledge sharing (e.g. Technical Symposium, dept info sharing and etc)

20. Attend Trade shows and participate in internal/external/Vendor seminars to keep abreast of Industry trend and Technology Developments.

21. Submit minimum 1 Invention Disclosure per year..
