Responsibilities:
- Advanced Technical Lead Engineer for Technical Development with respect to:
? Engineering Development and Design
? Materials
? Processes and Manufacturing applications
? Technology
- Work (mentor) closely with Mayco Area of Expertise to expand Mayco’s Advanced Technologies and Processes to Venture China, this is an extension of Venture Mayco Area of Expertise.
- Lead the creation Bill of Material (with Lead Product Engineer) within the Request for Quotation process, Materials, Manufacturing Process (tooling, equipment, and fixtures), Test Requirements, etc. Responsible for Development of any new Material or Process to Venture China.
- Support Lead Engineer and Engineering Manager in the development of the Technical Review and Technical Assessment documentation. Responsible for the TR content for any new Material or Processes in the TR
- Participate in Technical Review and Technical Assessments presentation with Sales, Engineering Manager and Customers. Subject Matter Experts during TR, answering all Technical question associated with new Materials or Processes.
- Strong Knowledgeable Technical Advocate for Venture China’s Technical capabilities to all customers.
- Support Lead Engineer with Design Validation (DV) and Production Validation (PV) test plans for new Materials and Processes.
- Resident Technical Experts for all relevant Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS), specifically FVMSS 201/208 Occupant Safety Regulations as they relate to any Venture China products.
- Support Lead Engineer with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) study requirements for all new Materials, Processes or Technology.
- Technical Engineering Resource during the Request for Quote process: (in conjunction with Lead Engineer)
? RFQ to BOM Reconciliation, complete and correct
? Material and Process Identification, specifically new Material, Processes or Technology
? Technical Review Development and review with Customer
- Technical Engineering Resource during Engineering Development and Design phases of the project: (support training and mentoring Engineers)
? Review Technical Engineering Development proposals and provide recommendations.
- Deploy Venture Mayco Advanced Engineering Systems in Venture China:
? Lesson’s Learned Database deployment and training
? TeamCenter Data Management deployment and training
Qualification:
Education:
◆ Bachelor degree or above, major in Engineering.
Training background:
◆ Certifications: Engineering, Automotive or Manufacturing
Work experience:
◆ At least 8 years’ experience in Automotive Engineering for interior systems Development and Design.
◆ At least 3 years’ experience as a Leader in an Engineering department.
Skills/knowledge:
◆ Knowledgeable in Computer Aided Engineering (CAE),
◆ Knowledgeable in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)
◆ Knowledgeable with Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG), specifically Automotive Manufacturing Standards
◆ Knowledgeable with Manufacturing processes: Injection Molding, Leather Wrapping, Paint and Assembly operations
◆ Knowledge of typical Interior part manufacturing processes of the components and assemblies
◆ Knowable in TeamCenter or similar Data Management systems
◆ Experience with Passenger Side Airbags (PAB)
English skill
◆ Good command in oral and written English
◆ Good communication skills
Computer Skills
◆ Good PC skill in MS office software such as Word ,Excel, PowerPoint, Project.
◆ User capable in AutoCad, UG, ProE and CATIA software (2D and 3D CAD)
