职位描述
具体要求：
1. A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related discipline is preferred or an equivalent combination of experience and education which has imparted the required knowledge, skill and ability.
2. Seven to ten years of experience performing progressively responsible sales activities in an organization producing engineered products. Proven technical capabilities gained within large, complex organization dealing with industrial products.
职责描述：
1. Calls on customer representatives such as Engineering Managers, Design Engineers, Purchasing Managers, Buyers Operations Managers and Manufacturing Engineers at manufacturing facilities producing trucks, automobiles, railroad cars and products of similar complexity to convince current and prospective customer of the desirability of AFS fastening systems.
2. Reviews customer’s products, manufacturing processes, technical specifications, blueprints, plans, and other relevant documents, data and information to develop sales proposals, price estimates and project schedules to demonstrate the production, quality, cost and other advantages gained from use of AFS fastening systems.
3. Interfaces with customer representatives to develop and propose utilization of AFS fastening systems and related changes in equipment, processes, materials and services which would result in cost reduction, quality and efficiency in customer operations.
4. Provides technical training and other services to AFS sales team and customer personnel and to clients on proper application, use, operation, and maintenance of fasteners and related equipment. May also provide training to factory floor personnel in correct fastener and installation tooling usage. Troubleshoots customer installation problems to quickly resolve issues impacting on production schedules.
5. Lends support to senior sales management personnel in developing sales and service contracts with customers. May participate as a technical support team member in discussions and negotiations with customers for products and services.
6. Performs all job duties in alignment with AFS Industrial sales strategies to aggressively maintain and improve the company’s position in the marketplace and support achievement of annual sales and profit targets.
7. Maintains positive and proactive relationships with customer decision-makers to ensure that AFS products and services are selected and specified by customers to the maximum possible extent.
8. Acts as interface between Industrial Engineering, the AFS China sales team and customers to develop and distribute request technical information and support related to fasteners, installation tooling and product usage. Coordinates Sales Engineering activities with Industrial Engineering to achieve effective and profitable new product launches.
9. Ensures that accurate sales reports/forecasts are submitted in a timely fashion. Analyzes marketplace information in area of assigned accountabilities to assist in defining future product sales levels, potential customers and competitor threats. Provides such information to senior Sales leaders in an accurate and timely manner.
10. Maintains full compliance with Company policies and procedures and conducts all activities in accordance with Company Standards of Business Conduct.
