职位描述
Specific Responsibilities
1.Plan and schedule orders to assure customer needs are met. Release work orders to production as required to meet organizational objectives.
2.Forecast raw material and coordinates with Manufacturing Engineer regarding tooling consumption.
3.Work with purchasing to identify and order of raw materials (MRP).
4.Coordinate supplier’s delivery schedules to meet production needs.
5.Monitor resource requirements to assure schedule requirements are met.
6.Maintain minimum inventory to support the production schedule. Work with other buyer/planners or operations staff to develop JIT stocking programs with suppliers.
7.Interface with other departments (Shipping, Engineering, Quality) to resolve problems with timely delivery and monitor disposition of rejection notices.
8.Interface with production to resolve problems relevant to wire receipt, raw material quality, quantity verification, cost allocation and wire issuance to production.
9.Generate, analyze, and distribute production and inventory level reports to management.
10.Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement on a daily basis by your actions. Take the initiate to resolve planning and Materials issues with interaction from supervision. Willingly participate with production teams to resolve production, purchasing and planning issues.
11.Perform other tasks as needed in support of manufacturing operations, customers and suppliers.
12.Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience, Background, and Skills
1.Bachelor’s Degree in Operations management or a related field, e.g.
2.Knowledge of production planning, inventory management, JIT concepts and MRP is also required.
3.Minimum of three years of production & materials planning management experience in Machinery or & Components industry.
4.Good at Sales forecast management, Production schedule and Materials Requirements Planning.
5.Good team player and strong communication skills.
6.Good computer skills including knowledge of Excel, Word and PPT.
