• Sales responsibility for product line related to polymer.
• Explore the market for new business and subsequent acquisition of new customers, development of projects together with the customer.
• Customer presentations about polymer products and specific applications in collaboration with front sales.
• Develop technical solutions and concepts for our customers, in cooperation with process and mechanical engineers.
• Prepare techno-commercial proposals including cost calculation, pricing strategy, risk assessment, execution scheme and cash flow analysis.
• Present and negotiate commercial and technical proposals with our customers.
• Achieve order intake whilst following 10 golden rules and Sulzer’s ethical standards.
• Follow market trends, customers and competitors and propose actions to address and utilize market needs.
• Proper handover of secured projects to project management.
• Represent the polymer business at fairs, hold presentations at conferences.
• Any other duties that are assigned by superior.
• Travelling within region (30-40% of the time per year).

• Chemical engineering with university degree, preferably related to polymer industry.
• 5-10 years of experience in component and system sales of polymer/process technology.
• Engaged business person with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Experienced candidate will be considered for managerial position.
• A very strong customer service attitude and good negotiation skills.
• Analytical and problem solving skills, for developing and implementing solutions to problems with assigned projects.
• Ability to interpret customer requirements and to design separations equipment and processes.
• Good foundation in process engineering as well as chemical separation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in written & spoken in Chinese and English.
