职位描述：
Key Task
1. Daily management
？ Participate in commodity purchasing strategy setup process to make sure the strategic supplier development
？ Focused on the daily management activity within the plant.
？ Co-ordination of purchases of production consumables, working with suppliers on change management and implementation of approved projects from Shanghai under the direction of PD.
2. Cost control
？ Determine products and commodities that are conducive to low cost sourcing
？ Match supplier capability to Futuris purchasing requirements
？ Analyse the key cost drivers and Develop plan to attain most competitive upfront costs
？ Ensure cost negotiations are managed and approved by the Purchasing team only and manage any risk associated with additional input into the negotiation process
？ Promote cost management activities to ensure requirements are covered by cost standards
？ Initiate the VA/VE program to continuously optimize the cost structure on supplier side
3. Supplier management
？ Purchasing activities including supplier selection, purchasing decision, contracting, price negotiation, etc.
？ Manage supplier contracts to ensure the long-term continuous supply of products / services to minimise risk of price changes during term of supply
？ Use only suppliers that are on the approved source list
4. Team building
？ Ensure purchasing team adhere to compliance procedures and minimise financial risk
？ Support buyers in meeting new program budgets by identifying costs / products that align with targets

Qualifications
？ Essential: bachelor in Business Management, Procurement or relevant discipline
？ Preferred: master in Procurement, Engineering, Management or related discipline

Skills & Knowledge
？ Extensive experience and working knowledge of managing a Purchasing/Procurement Function
？ Proven experience in leading and managing a team
？ Solid experience in the management of suppliers across a large scale global operation
？ Proven customer service and financial/business acumen
？ Intermediate knowledge of MS Office
？ Effective communication skills
？ Strong negotiation skills
？ Strong Leadership Skills
？ Safe work and Quality Systems
？ Coaching and team development skills
