Job description of purchasing manager
ROLE
BAWX Purchasing Manager with direct report to the Purchasing Director of Bolzoni Group
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Management of current Chinese suppliers
- Management and negotiations of existing components sourced from China
- Cost Control Monitor in agreement with Global Purchasing Working Plan
- Developing / scouting new Chinese suppliers in agreement with Global Purchasing Working Plan and Company Quality Procedures
- Request for Quotation to new Chinese Suppliers
- Support BAM Purchasing Team during the visits in China
- SAP data entry for Chinese suppliers (MM area)
REQUIREMENTS
- Nationality : Chinese
- Sex : male
- Coming from Wuxi area
- Workplace : Wuxi
- Educational qualification : Engineer
- Spoken languages : Chinese, English fluently (any other spoken language is welcome)
- Age : between 30 and 40 years old
- Working experience : 5 to 10 years in Purchasing
+ with knowledge for supplier scouting
+ with ability to read technical drawings and specifications (if not Engineer)
+ negotiation skills
+ available to travel inside and outside China
+ team working attitude
+ INCOTERMS knowledge
- Previous jobs : with structured Companies, better if from Western Companies or JV in China (possibly from fork lift truck business)
- Working permanence in the previous Companies : minimum 3 years
- Professional knowledge : SAP system, Microsoft Office Package, AS400 / ERP system (any other skill is welcome)
- With driving license
- With knowledge of western behaviour
