MEMSIC, Inc. has an immediate opening for an experienced senior test manager to develop and support manufacturing of state-of-the-art Micro Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) and magnetic sensor technologies. This position requires the majority of time to be spent at MEMSIC Wuxi, China facility to lead engineering development and manufacturing test teams. Education / training: BS or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Physics, or Mechanical Engineering.

Requirements:
8+ years of hands-on experience in developmental testing and high-volume production testing of electronic components or sensors.
Leadership and guidance skills to maintain productivity and efficiency of engineering test teams.
An important attribute is quality of work and attention to detail.
A broad mix of electronic and instrumentation skills and knowledge of both developmental and ATE test fixtures.
Experience with design of test hardware and software, prototyping, and troubleshooting.
Experience with electrical and environmental tests associated with electro-mechanical components that involve high resolution measurements and data collection.
Experience with automated wafer probe stations.

Responsibilities:
Manage and provide hands-on guidance of engineering teams for product development, production testing, and product support of inertial MEMS and magnetic sensors.
Activities include: wafer-level probing, packaged part functionality tests, thermal cycling with data collection, inertial tests, electrical and environmental stress tests, and product failure analysis.
Use a hands-on approach toward developing automated and semi-automated test equipment.
Write test reports for both internal use and customer support.
Maintain test facilities to TS16949:2002 and ISO9001:2000 Quality Management System Standards.

Additional Preferences:
Experience with computer programming language LabView and data acquisition.
Experience with design of PCBs.
Experience with bus communication protocols I2C, SPI, CAN, PSI5, and USB.
Experience with magnetic and inertial test equipment such as shakers, shock, 1g-flip, Helmholtz coils, etc..
Experience with wafer probe stations.
